Dates synched from Address Book?

Hello,

is there some sort of app that can synch to the dates in the address book so it brings up birthday notification?

Does that make sense?

If you have a mac you have to enable the birthdays calendar in iCal. Once that is enabled you can sync it to your phone via iTunes. Not sure how to do it on the PC.

App called occasions, gets birthdays from Contacts lists and sends notifications when there coming up.

Yes, there is such kind of application available. You will get an option named reminder in one of the features. Try to look for this application properly.
