Advertise unlocking sites which rip the dev-team, geohot etc work and repackage it and sell it ripping people off ?

Chris can answer for sure, but those ads are provided by Google and if his account is anything like the Google AdSense account I have for my own site, there is absolutely no control over the specific ads shown. Ads are generated by the content/keywords of each page using an engine on Google's side. So, these ads are not chosen by EiC.

macgirl is right, I believe. I've seen advertisements for Sprint here on a mainly iPhone forum. It's all based on the ads that gets fed to the ad space... I don't think Chris really has much control. Plus, he gets money for them.

Advertisements are on of the main reasons why sites/forums stay running. You have to think long term. They pay for web space, servers and software.

Chris does an excellent job keeping these sites going, so of course he's going to have a few adverts on here.

Wouldn't you...?

The site owner can put whatever advertisments he wants on the site its his site lol

Was just a question not a complaint. Mabey I should have worded it better though.

I didn't for one second assume you were complaining lol, it's a little ironic having an advert asking people for money to unlock there phones- on an iPhone mods forum. We obviously know more than they do...
