Can anyone guide me to as how I can get louder e mail alerts please?

on a standard iphone you cant adjust that. if you jailbreak your phone you can download different tones that tell you when you have mail. i personally use the you've got mail voice from aol. it sure is loud enough to hear from the other room.

if your phone is jailbroken download Volume boost 3.0 from cydia...it definitely makes it louder...you'll hear the difference

I would throw my phone into a wall if that was going off every 3 minutes.

Yeah, but that makes your whole phone super loud, not just the email, and that can be super annoying.

:) thats why i have mine set to fetch hourly...i only have to hear it once an hour
