Ok. I'm listening to the radio this morning and they have a commercial for the Blackberry Bold on Rogers 3.5 G Network.
I'm on Rogers... Can I take advantage of the extra .5? What's up with that?
Any info is appreciated!
Thanks!

From what i've heard, every 3G enabled phone is running 3.5 as it is, if the phone can physically accept that speed.
The "3G" is not an absolute.

The 3.5G is HSDPA and the phone has to support at least 7.2 Mbps for it. HSDP+ (Like the network Bell and Telus launched) is the final evolution of the 3G standard before LTE. It's 21 Mbps. Rogers coverage for HSDPA is terrible compared to those other 2 networks. Especially in the west. So only the 3GS will be able to take advantage of that extra boost in speed from 3G to 3.5G.
