Why would someone buy a Samsung Android phone instead of iPhone?:dft006:unhappy Has anyone heard from friends or relatives that bought Samsung Android phone and why would they do that? Any advantage that Android phone shows over iPhone?

To be different, just like you did with that font and blue text. It's not necessarily a good thing, it hurts my eyes.

I know a lot of people (mainly younger teens her in the UK) that bought other phones because currently we have to sign up for a minimum 18 month contract, at £35 p/m

Samsung et al, offer £20 p/m contracts on half decent devices that do all the stuff kids want them to do, and on a 12 month contract - or a more affordable pay and go option.

Price for me plays a huge part.
