So ladies and Gentlemen, if you have an iPhone or latest gen iPod Touch and the chrome bezel has a couple of dings, scratches or scrapes that strike a nerve with you, or if you are finding yourself being VERY over protective and delicate when putting on/off a protective case you can now relax.

By lightly intentionally scratching the bezel in a uniform way you can create a "brushed Aluminum" look on the bezel that looks VERY nice and professional. Most cars have something similar like this on the interior. It reminds me of a Stainless steel sink.

Not only can you do this for the chrome bezel, but if you have a battered scratched up or dinged up iPod Classic or iPod Touch back, you can do the same, and it will look alot better than having the shiny and the scratches.

As you'll see in the video, all that you really need to do is smoothly stroke the bezel with the rough (usually green) scrubbing surface of a kitchen sponge. This'll make the scratches blend in by creating a more brushed look. Just don't forget to use masking tape to protect the rest of the phone and it's the simplest cosmetic surgery you'll ever do.

Here's the video on the DIY. It really looks good, and once the day comes when my bezel has scratches that are bugging me ill be sure to do this.
