Seems like I couldn't avoid the ads for a server that was was
available for $19.95 for iTunes and now I can't seem to find it.

Was it River Past ShadowTunes? Allows other devices to sync content using iTunes.

I checked that out, no, that wasn't it. I recall seeing the web-page that
would be the server page and it looked a lot like iTunes. I will keep
looking.

Was it MOJO? Think there is a free and a paid version. It looks something like iTunes.
