my iphone keeps turning off help

hey guys i need help my iphone keeps on turning off and i have to press home button and sleep button always to open it, it happens 2 or 3 times in a day !! wht should i do? should i go to apple store or something ? help plz !!

I had the same issue with my 3G and did a hard reset and that cleared it up.
If this does not work for you, do what smknSRT8 recommends.
If that does not work, head to Apple...

juls1585 (http://www.everythingicafe.com/forum/members/juls1585.html) is asking you what firmware because this was just fixed in the last firmware release and you are having the same symptoms that this points to. Update your firmware to 3.1.2
