Great question. I purchased iWork 09 cause it was cheaper and because I don't use Excel or Word very much. I have no problem opening those files and sending them but I think I miss some of the features of office that made it easier to use for me. So while I'm glad I saved $50-$60, sometimes I wish I had dropped the extra coin! But the more I use it the more I may find work arounds. I've only had a Mac for like 1 1/2 months.:ok:ok

I don't think you'll be disappointed with MS Office. That's what it seems most people use so if you have someone send you over an Excel or PowerPoint file you're going to be able to open it with no issues.

Im going to wait and see if my computer stops acting up to install though. Right now I am having technical difficulties.

Neither. Paying for an office suite is a thing of the past. Use OpenOffice.org. Free and open source!!!

OpenOffice.org is great if you never have to integrate anything is MSOffice. I try out every major new update and still have a lot of problems integrating the two. The same goes for iWork.
