Hi,
I thinking about buying a second hand 3gs of ebay. Is there any way i can register it under my name after i've bought it?
I'm worried about people reporting it as "lost" after a couple of months.
Thanks

And also restore your iPhone as new in iTunes!

@ZipZap Check on ebay (http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m38.l1311&_nkw=iphone+3gs&_sacat=See-All-Categories).

I will be selling my 3G in the near future and I plan on just doing a restore to new and shipping it. SIM card and all. Once I activate the new phone my old 3G should be free from my name and number. I think AT&T automatically de-activates it.

Check to make sure the phone doesn't have water damage, psychical damage, etc

What you say is true, but I always remove/destroy the sim with the phones that I sell. That's just me though.

I'll be selling it unlocked so I guess the person won't even need it. So I'll do that.
