When you email pictures from your camera roll it doesn't cost any additional money, correct?

Well, the real answer is, "it depends". If you're on an appropriate data plan, with AT&T, for instance, you're good. If might also cost money if you are paying for Wi-Fi, say, at a hotel, and you don't have good cell coverage.
