iPhone to apple

I currently have a iPhone 3g which I bought from someone else. With a bent or broken sim holder (whatever it's called). The sim tray won't go in fully with or without the sum card. Should I take it to apple? Will they fix it? What else do you think I should do?

If there is an Apple store near by go buy a new sim card tray. If not go on eBay,

No you don't understand
I recently bought a sim tray
what I mean is the "hole" where you put the sim tray doesn't let the sim tray go in with or without the sim card

Sorry my bad. Have you tried putting the sim tray removal tool or a paper clip in the hole next to the where the sim card goes, pushing down on it and see if anything is ejected from the sim card slot? If so or if this doesn't work I think it's off to the Apple store for you. Let us know what happens.
