how do you backup or sync with categories

Is it safe to backup or sync with categories. What is the best way to assure your icons are not missing or replaced or hidden while in the categories folders. I have sb installed so i can make them appear or hide. When i plug into i tunes i dont see the icon even though the icon is on the ipone and switched to on in the sb poof settings. Will i or should i loose icons or have them moved around because of the categories program if i sync with itunes.

I have the same setup and never have any problems after syncing. I never move apps from itunes on my Mac as itunes shows 6 pages of apps while I really only have 2 pages because of categories. So I say as long as you don't use itunes to move stuff around you'll be ok.:ok:ok

my itunes does not display any of the icons i have in the categories folders when i plug in.
