For some reason, just tonight, I can't use my phone while lockinfo is working. No apps will open and I can't slide to different pages unless i go VERY slow. The only app that will open is settings and SbSettings and once I turn lockscreen info off then my phone works fine. I can slide to different pages with no problem. What the hell is going on? I think I have to do a restore. This is ****ed up!

And he wants to charge $4.99 for this feature. LMAO!

oh man i have lockinfo and my phone has been acting REALLY weird in the last few hours as well. The phone kept turning on and restarting by itself and when i sent a text message it froze and when i looked at the memory it was down to like 12 everytime it restarted itself...I was close resetting it through itunes and downloading everything again but it seems to have stopped acting up for the moment.

I can't slide the springboard pages unless I move my finger REALLY slowly and no apps will open. If I lock it's fine or if I open SBSettings it's fine. Everything else ****ED!

I tried to click on "processes" and my phone froze.

yeah pretty much the same thing was happening to me. The pages would move but it wouldn't slide, if i left my finger off halfway, it would stop in between both pages. It just corrected itself though. Wonder what it is

Mine, I can't move the screen at all really. Now settings won't open to turn off. I can't believe this guy wants to charge us for this. Unreal. :dft007:angry

My 3GS started acting slow to so I just removed it. These issues plus the fact that it's going to be a paid app made the decision to uninstall it very easy.

No issues when I had it also. And by the way, charge you $4 for what? LockScreen is free. IntelliScreen is paid for.

Actually its $4.99.

It was only free during Beta testing and now apparently its ready for release - at least that what the upgraded app info page says.

Krunk - did you do the update a couple of days ago?

Curious if that is what caused your issues.

Lockscreen was never meant to be free.

It was a beta repository that was passed around from forum to forum.

It was always meant to be a commercial product.

I guess he is finally ready for release.

I haven't updated since it went commercial since I finally had a build that was stable. I'm going to watch and see what type of plugins are being made before I purchase the license fee.

Yeah everything was updated properly. I had to do a restore from new and re-jailbreak.

Sorry to hear this Krunk. There is another thread where some of us were having different crashing problems and as soon as I deleted the app and went with intelliscreen presto, problem solved!

sucks u guys are having problems. I had problems with it about 2 weeks ago when my email wouldn't show up. I went through 2 updates to finally getting the latest one (at that time) to fix my issues. I do see that there is an update but havent done so cuz im scared that my build will break again.

I'm wondering if it had something to do with daylight savings time. I've never had a problem with lockinfo until last night around 2 am. I hard rest a couple of times and it went back to normal.

I didn't have that problem with daylight savings when it changed at 2am. Actually a bunch of us we're debating at what the true time it was and we were all looking at our phones at the 2am roll back switch. Sadly a couple of verizon phones didnt update till 2:30ish.

My lockinfo picked it up right away.

What issues? Are you unable to slide from screen to screen or open any apps?

Things are crashing (ipod, pocket radio, pandora). I have no problems sliding from screen to screen.

Well, I couldn't even open apps to have the chance of them crashing. My phone was inoperable. Couldn't slide pages, couldn't free up memory. Only things that worked were sbsettings and lock, unlocking the phone. That's it.

I'm all good. I've updated today to the most recent version and everything seems fine on my end. His info on Cydia says that Facebook, Twitter, etc. plugins are in the works. That is very exciting, though I don't know if I'll end up paying for it. No problems here to report though.

Sorry to hear you had issues, Krunk.

I updated the app via ROCK. Looks like they made it a pay app. Go to settings and you can change options there. I went in changed one thing and exited then resprung. Things are back to normal.

Thanks. Things actually seem to be a little better after doing a restore and setting things up again. Still undecided if I will purchase though.

Yeah, I'm a Twitter and Facebook user so those plug-ins will be pretty cool, but I don't know how much use I'm currently getting out of Lockscreen Info...

Not for $5. Maybe $.99 but not $5.

I think that's cheap considering I've bought many .99 apps that are now rotting away on my phone (backup).

For something that I'll use everyday (since it's on my lockscreen) I think that's a small pittance.

I won't be able to buy one more cup of coffee.

Think about it. What apps do you have that you will use every single day?

You're right, it's not a huge cost like some other applications and it's a steal compared to Intelliscreen. However, Intelliscreen is only $5 more and naively supports News, Sports, etc. I think once David integrates some social networking features that would be great for $5. I would even love to see the ability to reply to SMS via Lockscreen Info. But, as the name of the application implies, it's just there to be informative....

It is nice to preview emails without having to open up the email app. I use that portion of Lockscreen daily so maybe $5 is not too much to ask.

I've been following this guy and his work on macthemes.

He seems to be doing it right and going primarily for efficiency. Native rendering has less overhead than running HTML.

There should be a lot of plugins on the way.

Once I have a bit of free time I want to play with his API and work on a plugin myself. Should be fun.

I just counted 5 apps on my phone that I bought for .99 that I don't even use anymore.

If I can cut down on those stupid impulse buys this app would have already paid for itself.

I'm not sure how up to date he's keeping it.

I'm waiting till the dust clears before I dig in.

Anyone download the new lockinfo update 1.0.113? What does it change?
