So I have been trying to customize my mac a little more. I seen something really cool in several screen shots that people have posted but I can't figure out how to do it and I need a little help. The icons on the dock how do I change them to cool icons and colors like some people have? I know mine are just like original ones but I seen some people with cool blue icons and stuff I was just wondering how you do it so any advice or anyone willing to steer me in the right direction would be nice. Thanks!

CandyBar is what most use for changing dock icons, looks etc.

What else do some people use?

I don't use an app to change them. I just replace the icon images with new ones.

If i remember right, theres one more other "alteration" program for macs.

I use Candy Bar for everything.

Why bother with an app, when you can easily do it manually? You just copy and paste the new icon. When you delete the icon you pasted, it reverts to the default icon.

I use CandyBar. Easy app icon replacement, and it does docks & system icons as well. If you're looking for a free alternative, check out LiteIcon (http://www.freemacsoft.net/LiteIcon/). For docks, icons, and such, check out MacThemes (http://macthemes2.net/forum/) and the Iconfacotry (http://iconfactory.com/home).
