Checkerboard screen - browsing

I asked this in the 3GS section too, but no responses.

JB 3GS with Blackra1n. When browsing when a page begins to load, the checkerboard screen comes on for a brief second before the page loads. Is this normal now? Has anyone had this happen to them?

What can I do? Can I sync with iTunes now that I'm JB? How can I test my speed? Could it be much slower than before JB?

The checkerboard is normal depending on your connection speed. I get it on mine with wifi when I reload a page and scroll to the bottom real fast. Others may not get it because of better connection speeds.

There are several apps you can get to test your speed. Look in the app store under speed. Speed test is one but I don't use it anymore as I don't get very high results as compared to most people.

No problem syncing with itunes and being jb. As for speed difference between being jb or not I haven't seen any at all.

I do see the checkerboard when scrolling fast. But, I'm referring to a page being loaded right at the start. Full bars on 3G. I never noticed this before JB.
