Can't Download Updates

Anyone else getting the dreaded "unknown error" when trying to download updates to previously purchased apps? I was having problems updating/downloading an app so I uninstalled it completely hoping that I could just reinstall it. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes twice trying to seek a solution. Any advice?:dft002:amazed

Lincoln had a similar issue in another thread. His solution was:

I found out all the apps that needed updating were purchased with a different account, the one I used prior to setting up my current one. I had to sign out of my current account and log in with the new one, and then the downloads were available.

Unfortunately it's the same account that I have had for the past 6 months. Thanks anyway...
