Ringtones not syncing [Archive]

So whenever i'm trying to sync ringtones into my new 3GS, the phone somehow only manages to sync just 1 ringtone into the phone? I'm trying to get a few more in but it just doesn't seem to work. Everytime it's only the first ringtone that gets synced while the others which are shown on the itunes ringtones category but it's not in the phone. How can i fix this?

Try deselecting "sync all ringtones" and use "selected ringtones and put a check next to all of the ones you want.

the sync ringtones has always been unchecked,so does the sync all & selected. I always drag my music,movies & ringtones in. So if i start checking it now, i'll lose all the music & movies which is in the phone & have to sync it all again.

If you are using iTunes, its impossible to drag and drop media into the iphone. Please tell us your exact set up, as your being a little vague.

I'm using Vista & the latest iTunes. When i say drag i mean from iTunes library into Devices, (in this case the iphone). I do not use the automatic sync, i manage all my files manually. So that means, when i want a song in my phone, i just drag it from library.

I didn't fix anything, it's just that i made some silly mistakes. i moved all the files to another location after played in iTunes,thus iTunes couldn't locate the files. So i just had to relocate it. :009:blushing
