Email Accounts - Password

Is it possible to set up a password to view the email? I have successfully set up my (3) email accounts and I haven'd had any problems sending/receiving emails but I was wondering if I can restrict others from reading my emails on the phone. I know you can lock the entire phone, but I let me friends use the phone, so I was wondering if the emails can be locked?
