IS anyone else having issues with AT&T??
All my friends who have an iphone, including my and my parents, are unable to make calls/send sms or do anything requiring the use of AT&T.
Is there something going on??!?

I'm no where near Florida, but I was having serious AT&T problems early this morning (about 5 am EST). I was dropping to Edge for a little while and then had no service for about a half an hour. The problem is resolved and I have 5 bars & 3G as normal. This was the first time I ever had no service at home.

Call them up. It might take them a little to admit there is an outage but that's normally what I hear. I'm up and running again pretty quickly though.

Nothing on the ATT forums. That is where I usually look to see if there are network issues. The fact that the outage affects only iPhones is suspicious. Take Kabba's advice and call CSR.

So the public was told today that AT&T is fixing an issue with 3G. I was on edge, and then at one point no service at all.
There was no service at one point for everyone from PalmBeach Florida right down to Key west. Some on edge, some with no service.
MY guess is the satellites crashed? or the Towers were destroyed or something.

Europa, never noticed you were in Utah. How is AT&T in general for you? It's been a nightmare for me most of the time.

I'm not very impressed with AT&T here. Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon have better coverage.
I wrote this a couple months ago, it pretty much sums up my feelings towards AT&T in SW Utah; Friday, I went to the mall to look at the samurai swords. Didn't get one because they didn't have any Hattori Hanzos, but that's another story. I was on a phone call as I walked in through Sears, but as soon as I hit Pretzel Time, as usual, my call dropped and I lost service. As I stepped out of the mall, I returned the call and walked about 100 yards to the small 4 screen theater that was showing Moon. I was a little early, so I sat down in the theater and continued my phone conversation for 15 minutes until the movie started. My call dropped three times during that 15 minutes. I didn't have my Sprint cell with me or I just would have used it as it has never dropped a call in town. I have to go into Airplane mode at work, or the battery will die searching for a signal the whole shift. FWIW, if I put my T-Mobile SIM in my iPhone, the battery doesn't drain excessively while I'm at work.

SW Utah..isn't much there! I can sympathize though. I'm right by UofU and if I do get service in my apartment its usually 1 bar, usually its that 0 bar but you still have service sort of situation...

There's plenty here. I always have five bar 3G at home, we have a Best Buy, gangs, amazing hiking and bike trails, no snow, an In-N-Out, and a Cardiac ICU capable of handling the the communites bypass needs. Aside from an ocean and an Apple Store, what more could ask for? :)

You know, ever since I've moved here I have a problem with E and W directions. I was thinking of SE Utah. Outdoor stuff there, just not populus. doh!
