Cydia Keyboard sound problem.

I just recently JBed my iPhone and have some questions regarding Cydia app. On cydia app on search function the keyboard click sound is always on and make my phone lag quite a bit. Is there anyway I can turn that off. BTW on any other apps the keyboard clicks are off becuz I already set it to off via setting just Cydia that is still on no matter what.

As far as i know it happens to us all. Is it really that big a problem for you? how about turning the phone onto silent before you go into the search function!

It is not the sound that annoy me but lagging is a big problem, but thx anyway. Oh! and thx for that spell check.

Yes, unfortunately it happens on the 3G. Do you have a 3G or 3GS? Lag should be fixed a bit on the 3GS...

i have a 3g and i use the blackberry bold click and i never get lag. what keyboard are you using?

What do u mean blackberry bold click? I use normal apple keyboard with click sound turn off only problem cydia has click sound default at ON at all time and that cause lagging whenever I want to type within cydia app. Btw I have 3g and now I know everyone has this problem not just me so I'll have to live with it for now
