Using the wizard is the easiest way for me to get pics to my computer, HOWEVER...

The pictures show up in random order and I have to search through all of them to find the one(s) I want to copy to the computer. It's such a pain!

Is there a way to get the pictures in the wizard to show up IN ORDER, like it does with any normal digital camera?

(Hope that make sense.)

Thanks in advance for your help!

when you plug your phone into your computer you should be able to just go into my computer assuming you are using a pc and youll see a camera labeled apple. in that folder all the pictures on your phone will be there. in order.

Yeah, there's no way to sort them in the wizard. That's why I manually copy from an explorer window. There you can sort by name/date taken/type and flip between lists and thumbnail view.

The wizard is woefully inadequate in my opinion.

I think the reason that the wizard gets all messed up is because if you started taking pictures, the first one is 1, then 2, and so on.
Lets say you have 125 pictures, and you deleted 45, 67, and 82. I believe that the original number assignment does NOT change, leaving "holes" in the numbering system. I also believe that the iphone keeps counting from whatever number the last picture is, so if 125 was the last picture, the next one it still 126, even though there are only 122 actual pictures in memory. And the next picture fills the first "hole" which would be the #45 slot.
Obviously the phone does not see it this way, but the MS wizard does, which is why you can have photos "peppered" all over the place when extracting them with the wizard.
