This is undoubtedly a problem created by my own ignorance, but I'd love it if somebody would please help me get sorted out. My iPhone synchs well with MobileMe, but if I connect it to my MacBook all of my contacts and appointments will be doubled up (and a few will disappear). This is killing me. I could just refrain from connecting to my MacBook, but it's a better way to synch podcasts and bigger stuff.
