I was thinking about getting a cruise for my parents. Fortunately my father just renewed his passport.

I wouldn't. Because buying games and accessories for it will cost me a hell lot. Some people wouldn't pay for stuff like that, so don't give them consoles! lol

id like to do that but my parents would never be interested in that type of vacation. we never took vacations when we were kids. wed go camping but never did like week long destination vacas, so i think the weekend we have planned for them will be nice. just a hotel on put n bay with paid meals, transportation and entertainment. it will probably be about $200 for each of us (there are 3 of us) but its something they havent done in years.

A case of wine, some clothes, gift cards, but no spam.

Along with the wine idea, my girlfriend and her sister bought their parents a one-year membership to this "wine club." It was pretty cool, they got 2 bottles of wine (one red, one white) shipped to their door each month, received a monthly magazine, coupons and some other goodies. They loved it. I cannot recall which they went through, but it's definitely a good idea to look into if they're into wine.

I guess I should have been more specific on the wine. I get 12 DIFFERENT bottles of wine and wrap them individually, and them put them into a case and wrap it. It ends up being alot like the wine of the month since there are 12 different bottles. It helps them fill the cellar and keep trying new bottlers.
