I shop at Best Buy often and have nothing negative to say about them.

BB has always treated me right. It's a great place to go and get hands on with the product to really see if you want it or not. I'm sure you must have had a bad experience with them but no place is perfect. I drop in there whenever I get a chance just to see what's new and that really helped me to make my decision about my Mac. It wasn't their salesmen but it was messing with the machine for 30 minutes that sold me on this product.

best buy is great if you buy thats never been open. if you buy the display, your basically accepting as-is...

Its not so much I had a bad experience its just that I didn't mind buying the display model but I mean c'mon you have to at least be able to give that person the original cd's and proper paperwork. They did make it right though I called in to them today and they are going to discount the new iMac [21.5" display] model for me and thats a brand new one in the box I am going to pick that up Friday Nov. 6th when my 14 days on this one run out.

to be fair, they give you a discount on the floor model because all of the original stuff isn't included.

Yeah they did give me a discount but they are also giving me a discount on the new one im picking up on Friday for all of the hassle I had to go through.
