View Full Version : Gmail Push Down?

Is anyone else's gmail push down? I set mine up through the native mail app and just recently I've noticed that it no longer pushes emails. Also, when I send myself emails to test, I manually check my inbox on my phone and the emails still don't show up. It has been slow for the past few days, but today it has completely stopped working.

I've tried everything from deleting and setting it back up to restarting my phone.

I am not having any problem with my gmail push and unfortunately don't have any advice for you since you've done everything I would know to do.

Yeah I'm having the same problem. I deleted and readded the account a couple of days ago and it fixed the problem. But as of this morning, it's not working again. It's showing that I have no messages in my Inbox but they're there when I log onto gmail.com

Mine's still out. I found this while looking for solutions and came across this:

It's is exactly copied and pasted, with a few different things. For example it says I said 'Thx a lot!' when I didn't. Nor did I ever post that there or have even heard of that place.

Anyone know what this is? It's kind of weird...

Ditto. Maybe its just a fluke thing and will fix itself after a few days.

Tired a hard reset? "Power button + home button" till u saw the apple logo?

mine stopped "pushing" 20 min. ago-when i go into the app and select "activate push services" it says "error registering with push server" did anyone figure anything out on this?

I've been having the same problem for a while now - on both Gmail and Yahoo. In fact, that's why I came here tonight - to see if anyone else has had the same problem. I've deleted and re-added the accounts, which fixed Gmail for a while, but now it's back to not getting messages... sometimes at all. Grrr... What's causing this?
