Calls going quickly to voice mail?

Anyone else have this problem? On several occasions I'll have a call come in but the phone not ring. I'll find out about the call in voice mail. At times there might be a ring of a second that I don't hear and then voice mail. I wonder if it has to do with the dark spots in the GSM network where the phone cuts out.

Hinky, dude all you ever do is show up every month or so and whine and complain about your iphone! It's just not giving you the phone calls so big deal! Listen it's an iphone and the last thing we actually do with them is make calls. I mean we are on AT&T right!:dft012:wink

Dude... it's a whole new experience for me. Been a Verizon / Sprint man for 13 years so moving to GSM is a whole new ball game! Some stuff on the iphone is awesome (red laser, overall reliability, the voice mail on the phone, pretty compact, etc.) but some is just killin me since Apple doesn't want to address those of us who actually use the phone often for email!!! :D
