I need a good app to transfer files (PDF, Word docs etc.) between the iPhone and the PC Vista. It should have the option for attachment -> e-mail.

What do you prefer?

GoodReader - incidentially it's on sale.

Supports all the usual filetypes and a variety of online file services. Has USB support via a free and very small utility.

I found goog reader is not a good application. I think there are some more good application available. Try looking for them in ebay. Do not buy trial ones.

Documents to Go (DTG) allows file transfers using the iPhone as an intermediary.

Add a file to your DTG directory on the PC. Then sync with the iPhone.

Once the document is on the iPhone, using the iPhone DTG app, open the document. In the lower left corner of the screen there is a floppy disk icon. Tap that, which brings up the file name and location tabs. You can change location by tabbing to the desired location (your other PC folder). Tap the "Select" button and it will save the file to the new location.

Next time you sync with the other PC, it will download the file to PC #2's DTG folder.

FTW for sure, hands down. There is an awesome iPhone app that allows you to send a link to a file to someone where they have 30 days to download it. Also, there is an application for Mac an PC so it shows up in Finder/explorer as a regular folder. Pretty awesome stuff, safe secure, and oh yea, free!
