I have a factory iPhone 3g. Oftentimes, my phone freezes and I cannot slide unlock for awhile. My phone memory is almost full. I have tried rebooting. Please help!

That might be your problem. I would have at least 10% free memory for the phones system. If it is way under that, delete some apps to free up memory.

Have you tried a soft reset? If not a soft reset is holding the power and home buttons together until the phone resets itself and you see the Apple logo. Once you see the Apple logo let go of both.

If that doesn't work I would suggest a restore to new iphone, not back up. Make sure your phone info like calendar, contacts, etc. is saved to your computer. Restore to new phone and then put everything back on your phone. It can be a pain sometimes to do this but worth it if it fixes the issues you are having.

also it never hurts to clean up some space. if you have your WHOLE music collection, then take off the ones that you don't listen to as much and if you have movies on it, it wouldn't hurt to take off some of those too. is it 16 gigs or 8 gigs?
