does anyone know if it matters whether or not its ok to leave your iPhone on the dock all day charging? I am not sure if this will have any effect on the battery. Let me know. Thanks.

Of course it's OK to leave it plugged in. Issues to be aware of are heating while the device is pulling data or talking. Leaving it plugged into the dock is no different than using a battery pack like the juice pack air.
Battery life is affected by the number of full drain cycles you subject it to. Leaving it plugged in actually extends the battery life.

Thank you sir. I would imagine a complete drain every once in awhile may be a good thing for the battery life?
