Hello . I am new here. Is there an application for a missed call on iphone? I suppose it must be jail broken for this?

If you mean an app that will "sound" an alert for missed calls I don't know of any in the app store. Of course there are jailbroken apps that will do this for missed calls, emails, sms.

Yes- an application that will give an audible alert or a light blinking like those found on any simple cell phone. Would be grateful if there are any suggestions on apps from cydia. I could not find the cydia website.

I agree but I need to see the locked screen whereas on the usual kind of cell phones the blinking light or audible alarm tells it faster. Mebbe I am lazy.

I completely agree. If the phone was locked when they call there will be an alert on the screen when you hit either the home or power button. It will tell you who you missed the call from and if they left you a voicemail that as well.

Cydia is your only possible option I believe...I however havent heard of any such program. I hope you find one. Its something Id actually be interested in as well.

Intelliscreen from Cydia will show calendar and give sound alerts for missed, sms, email, calls as well as some other functions. It works well. You can set the alerts in several different timings and length alert will continue to sound. I use it myself.

Tks. I thought Cydia gave alerts only for sms and emails. Guess I have to jailbreak now. A little apprehensive about this- first time- I suppose I can use the latest blackra 1n ? Apparently it has not worked well for many too.

Intelliscreen alerts for missed calls too. I understand your apprehension. Blackra1n is so fast and easy.....when it works. Going to be up to you to decide how bad you want alerts. It would be nice if there was something reliable in the appstore or on the stock phone for alerts. You can get plenty of help here should you decide to go for it.
