Yep, It was unveiled today in full production trim at the Tokyo Auto Salon. Not to mention some pig in Miami already has one.
- Top speed: 201.94 MPH:dft002:amazed
- 0-62 MPH: 3.7 seconds
- Redline at 9,000 RPM:dft002:amazed
- 4.8-liter 72-degree V10
- 553 hp @ 8,700 RPM
- 354 lb-ft of torque at 6,800 RPM
- Titanium valves, connecting rods, exhaust manifold, forged aluminum pistons,
- dry sump oil system
- Six-speed sequential gearbox
- Torsen limited slip differential
- 65% of the body is carbon fiber
- 3,263 pounds with a 48/52 weight distribution
- 15.4" front carbon ceramic rotors with six-piston monoblock calipers up front , 14.2" rear
- Production limited to 500 units:ok:ok (ooh exclusive and rare)
- Estimated MSRP $400,000 (another fact why this car will be rare)

The Front fascia of the car screams updated Supra. The wide gaping mouth and even the headlights. Amazing work.

This car is like 8 times out of the league of the Nissan GTR.
hmm 80 grand vs 400 grand... I think Toyota's main competition was between the Lamborghini Murcielago and Gallardo.

However after saying that... I still can see how this warrants 400 grand. The Porsche 911 Turbo does 0-60 in 3.2 and can get as high as about 200grand.
The LF-A has nothing about it that screams 400 grand...for that price i want 630 + horsepower, I want a body that is fluid with amazing lines...lol sounds like i want a Ferrari.

Yeah they're definitely not in the same realm as far as price is concerned. The aesthetics are what remind me of the GTR.

Agreed with whoever said that it's impressive for Lexus' first attempt.
Now it's time for them to improve the rest of their cars. :p
But for the price, there's many other faster, better looking cars I'd rather own that have a great history behind them, rather than cushy, disconnected-from-the-road cars.

I understand, but, for the time being, and the price, there are others that are already established that I'd rather own.

lol... Like? Im quite interested in what you'd buy if you could/can/want.

Ill take a 911 Turbo, Gt2 or CGT. Im a diehard Porsche Fan since they have been in my family forever.

I wouldn't mind having an SL65 Black Series, the upcoming SLS AMG, an SLR Roadster, LP640 Roadster, a Reventon, LP550-2 Balboni... to name a few. Also a DBS, a CGT Speed, F458 Italia... there are definitely quite a few that would be nice to have. :ok:ok
