Can anyone help, my phone has suddenly stopped connecting to my provider. Have tried switching on/off, changing providers, switching airplane mode on/off and currently in process of resetting and reinstalling software/apps etc. It intermittently shows my provider (VodafoneUK) but with a minimal signal, but most of the time shows No SERVICE (Note I have a vodafone gateway in my office so there should be no problem with signal strength).
Is it a case of returning the Iphone to my supplier or Apple to resolve this problem or is there something I can do to my iphone to resolve this problem.
Many Thanks
John

I would suggest clicking on settings-reset-reset network settings. Sorry if you've already tried this. If that doesn't help you may have to restore the phone to a backup or as new.

I have had the same problems and I am on AT&T! I noticed that the battery dies super fast when I "lose my connection" too. It's so weird. The phone tells me I have full strength, but then I cann't surf the net, text, or get my mail... I am trying to reset my network settings now. Hopefully that works better that rebooting the phone.

I wonder what type of glitch this is. Is it software related? I have had this problem consistantly for the last two weeks and I just power down and power back up. I have not noticed a battery drain when I do this, but I am sick of having to do this. At first I ignored it, but it happens at least once a day now so I can't help but notice it.
Hopefully a fix, she is a comin'!
