xfer pix iphone to pc

I am a newbe to the iphone. Just got my 3gs 32 this week and I can't find a way to get my pictures from the phone to a file in my pc. Can someone please point the way... Too much, Too fast, and Too old....

Hey when I plug my iphone into my computer I have a photo program that scans my phone and asks if I want to import my photos. I believe you can also open up explorer if you use windows and the iphone should be listed as a drive. I think there is a directory called dcim or something where your camera roll photos are stored. Worse case is that you email the photos to your PC but that isn't necessary.
