Hi, apologies if this problem has already been discussed in another thread. When making phone calls, sometimes my iPhone 3GS makes a weird modem-like buzzing sound from the receiver. I can hear it in the background to the phone call.

Anyone experienced a similar problem? Solutions?

Thanks

Sorry if this is stupid of me for asking but is it possible the number you dialed is a fax machine or possibly a dial up modem number? Not trying to insult your intelligence...:dft012:wink

It sounds as if he's already in a voice call when the background noise occurs.

Probably the CIA listening in.:036:inthedark

I've never experienced or heard of this happening. Is there a pattern for when this happens? Maybe only at home/work/phone booths, or only certain times of day?

Great signature but please fix it.:dft012:wink
I don't have a girlfriend, I just know "A" girl who would be really mad if she heard me say that.

Thanks Mickey! :ok:ok
I'm surprised it's been like that and I've never noticed.
Nice to know some people still know grammar on the internet.

No problem. It was a good enough quote or saying that it just had to be corrected!

my boyfriend says you're talking whale when he hears it. either that or a transformer has taken over the phone call. were pretty use to hanging up on each other because of it. scares the crap out of me late at night though!

Since you also have two independent clauses, you might want either a period or semi-colon after "girlfriend."

Yes tis true V, but the A had to be added for readability.Let's not kill him over a ., ,, or ;! :dft012:wink

BTW the above is period comma, comma comma, semicolon exclamation point.
