View Full Version : Got my 3GS 32GB today!

Oh boy - 5 weeks of waiting, and finally today...it arrived! :ok:ok

I'm going to install all my apps etc., and get back to you with my impressions!

UPDATE!

I now have all my old stuff (apps, contacts, pictures etc.) on my new iPhone.

First impression is: thumbs up Apple!! All interfaces is smooth and fast - the way we like it! ;) Application like Navigon took some time to start on my 3G, but with 3GS the time is much faster!

I also like the new camera and the video function.

My "fingerprint" seems to be gone on the screen - another thumbs up for Apple!

The Compass looks great, but I don't know if I'm going to use this app much!?

The 32GB space is more than I'm going to use, but the extra space from 16GB -> 32GB is still welcome.

The hardware buttons feels harder to push, - and that's fine!

So for now, I'm a happy iPhone owner - again!..

AWESOME! CONGRATS!! You will enjoy this phone.

Side note: I'm also proud to say that my 64 year old Mother-in-Law purchased the iPhone 3GS 32Gig Friday and she loves it! I'm so proud of her taking the plunge like that. She's awesome!

We spent some time with her on Wednesday (we had to go to a funeral) and took her to the Apple store, after she had been eyeing our phones, where she fell in love with it and decided that when she returned to Georgia she would buy this phone for herself and she did. Way to Go!!!

I love it when people take the plunge!

i think ima buy a 3GS, cause my 3G cant take any more, its banged up, it falls like once per day(at least it has a case), cause im not to careful with it, it has some serious bugs, im just waiting to be eligable for and upgrade, which is on 2011 :(

Congrats Picazzo. Waiting on new toys is a pain in the butt. I'm sitting here today awaiting delivery of the TV I ordered two weeks ago, so I feel your pain. Enjoy it!

Why did you have to wait a month? Denmark had some delivery issue with Apple, but it looks great again!

Have you done much web surfing? Wifi or 3G, it's a LOT faster than the older models.

Yeah - I'm chicken or something like this, but I had some bad experience with my old 1G + JB! I sure miss the themes/icons, background and a couple of Cydia apps - but that's all...:dft012:wink

Congrats man! My wife and I are up for an upgrade in November and I am torn whether or not to upgrade then or wait for the new one they will release next June. It's a tough decision! :dft007:angry

Thanks! Yes, I was thinking the same thing, but glad I made my move to the 3GS! The new iPhone will properly arrive in the mid summer of 2010 (June/July/Aug?) that's almost 9 months - I can't wait for that...:dft010:smiling

You WON!!!!....I did the JB thing with BlackRa1n RC2 last night....and so far...it's great...:ok:ok

When (if) a new iPhone is released, we here will know about it before most other people (I mean the general public who dont visit iphone sites) so you have a heads up on selling your 3GS. Sell it for enough to upgrade early and buy the new model. Thats what I did with my 3G > 3GS
