Wish I had Apple stock. I thought it was too high priced to buy any.
"This isn't just a one-quarter phenomenon, there's something bigger going on. There's a paradigm shift from a cell phone, a computer in your pocket. Apple's going to run away with that and ultimately, the numbers are going to be inching up as we go forward into 2010," Gene Munster, senior research analyst at Piper Jaffray, told CNBC.

I remember last year when Apple stock was below $80. *kicking myself* LOL
Kind of OT but CNBC just released their free iPhone app which gives quotes in real time if anyone is into watching stocks. It is called CNBC RT. It just gave me a push notification earlier when Apple released their blow away earnings.

I kick myself in the ass for not buying google years back when it was dirt cheap...I think it closed today at like 550 a share.

I need to learn more about stocks so I can earn money in case anything drastic happens. I should hire a broker.

It's amazing what the iPhone continues to do for Apple in this stagnant economy. It was funny I was at the doctor yesterday with my wife for a regular pregnancy checkup and I noticed just about every other expectant mother and father in the waiting room had an iPhone.
Before 2007, I had never owned an Apple product. I had actually really preferred MS to Apple and was happy with windows for the most part. Now, I have all Apple products. 24" iMac, MacBook, 1 TB Time Capsule, iPhone 3gs and 3g for the wife. I imagine there are quite a few others that have made the switch after getting the iPhone.

That is so true with me, (not the wife or pregnancy part). I have always been a PC and Windows person. I started a few years ago with the iPod and then this year purchased the iPhone 3GS, and now just recently purchased the MacBook Pro. Apple just makes quality and the OS runs so efficient and clean. Eventually I want to get a Time Capsule.
I do think despite Apple's stellar sales with the iPhone and Mac they will see a decline in iPod sales. With so many people purchasing an iPhone there is really no need for a separate iPod anymore.
