I'm a new JB iPhone, I want to install some apps that might cost some money via cydia and I'm just wondering how the developer will charge me? Another app like Intelliscreen which should cost like 10 bucks but I don't see any mention in there. I dont want developer to charge me via itune acct without me knowing it.

Paypal and Amazon payment methods are accepted within Cydia.

I've bought several Cydia apps and have had absolutely no problems regarding payment.

This - I use my Amazon account.. works great.

And FYI, when you upgrade to a newer jailbreak firmware, when you go to Cydia, it will check and say that you've already paid for that app and will let you reinstall. It's quite easy.

Thx for all the replies. I have another quick question, the apps DL via cydia will stay when I syn with ifune but not when restore, correct? So far I don't have a lot of apps installed however Im trying to find one app with no avalible which is a custom txt for lock screen. I want to add imgency contact to lock screen.

Yes a restore will wipe jailbroken apps but syncing won't affect them. If you use Rock repository instead of Cydia, a record is kept of apps you download.

Intellidial allows dialing from lockscreen. Check it out.

There are also a couple of backup apps in Cydia - AptBackup is one - that make the process of restoring jailbreak apps after a restore easier.

I didn't think about dial from lock screen but that might also be a good idea, thx for that as well. My realy intention is to let whoever know my I C E contact number without getting into my phone since I have pass lock code on my phone. I might have to create custom background with ICE # on that intellidial. Gotta have to check it out.
