Was not real sure what to title this one. But I am wondering, if you are not using your iPhone, perhaps going to bed. Should you turn off settings such as 3G, SSH, Wi-Fi, iMC or any others you may have in your SBSettings? I know most people probably put it on the charger when they go to bed. However, when it is not in use, whatever the reason... does it save battery or CPU to turn off these settings? Is it worth turning them on or off? For the most part, mine are on all the time and I have not experienced any difference in performance.

When I go to bed, and switch off my phone, I always turn off wifi, bluetooth, phone etc. Cant hurt to save battery life. Even if on charge

I leave 3G, Location services, WiFi, BT, & Push on at all times. BT is only connected while I'm in my car. I turn SSH off when not in use. If you are noticing significant battery drain while you are sleeping, you could try turning some of those features off when not in use.

since i don't need a lot of stuff running in general through out the day, i keep everything running all the time and my battery lasts for about two days :-). generally i think the 3g has a great battery life so you don't have to worry too much about that, but if you notice a large battery insuffiecensy you can turn off the less important stuff and have the rest just run as they are. also dimming the screen may help with the battery life.

I turn off my phone at night before charging or after plugging for an overnight charge. The phone seems to behave better during the day if I restart at least once every 24 hours.
YMMV
