Why can I not get some "American" apps?

There's about a dozen i've tried to get, but the iTunes says its not available in the Canadian store.

That's a load of crap!

Any way to get them?

E Online was the latest. Pandora...

I would guess the tele companies that are providing the phone want to keep data in check. You named Pandora as one of the apps which streams. They may want to keep some of these off, popular ones, for that reason. Maybe they don't want to have cellular quality drop in high pop areas and believe this would be a cause.

As for getting them and getting them on the phone I am not 100% sure. I recall seeing a post somewhere that said how you can manually back up your apps and I assume if you know a US person that could d/l them here and then e-mail them to you they can then be added to your library that way.

Hmmm...

Maybe. But there are apps for streaming music in the lineup.

Jst stinks... Would like to have many of the ones talked about here, but they're not in the Canadian iTunes store.

It truly irks me - why am I a second class citizen...

Ok. Rant over.

Anyone here have People and E Online they can email?

Can't speak for all of them, but music streamig apps are strictly regulated by licensing, royalties, and all that.

Could be as well. But I don't understand the People one or the E Online app. They're both just entertainment news. I get the Pandora one...

You can create a US iTunes account and get the free ones.

OK. Found a workaround. Installed a few free apps. The Pandora App doesn't work here in Canada. Pity... The others do though.

Some app does not work out of USA. I think this one of those. Though i have not still experienced it hope you can manage with any other apps. Good luck.

I have the same problem in many cases - the new Photoshop.com Mobile app...but that one doesn't appear in the Danish AppStore so fare...!?

I tried to look such kind of application in many sites. Still trying to get some of them. Any suggestion anyone?
