Changing SIM

Hi guys, I wa sjust wondering if anybody knows if all the stuff on the phone would stay there if i change my SIM card? I'm ok with my apps 'cause I'm pretty sure they're just all on itunes and I could always just sync it back but my main concern is whether or not my text messages/contacts would still be there if I get a new sim card?

Just keep in mind for future phones that all of the data should stay on the phone. Even if you import contacts and information from your sim, it'll save to the phone. So you're safe to switch sims.
