It works well?

I need to check it out... I have a Verizon MiFi that is $60/month and I don't use it all that much (company lets me expense it, but still...)

Just tried it, doesn't seem to work. I connect, get an IP, and can ping the phone, but pinging out to the net just dies.

Make sure you re-start your phone after you install. It works perfectly for me but I did have to re-start the phone once I installed it.

Ahh, yess... that did it :)

Speedtest.net compare with the MiFi

First, the MyWi on the iPhone

And my Verizon MiFi

Wow, pretty big difference....

I wasn't able to use Mywi using the the WiFi network the iPhone creates. I was only able to using tethering using Bluetooth. I have a PowerBook & I turned Airport on. I see the computer to computer network and connect to it. After I join the network created by the iPhone I'm not able to get on the internet on my Powerbook. Did I miss something?

The speeds are pretty good & consistent. Awesome app. Worth the $9.99!!

So this app basically turns the iPhone into a wireless router through Edge/3G?

Dowloaded it a few minutes ago, set it up... unbelievable is all I can say.

I just hope I'm not gonna get nailed with extra fees by AT&T. If all this is ever gonna cost is ten bucks, well... that's just unreal.

So far this is the best app I have ever seen!

i would use it sparingly for sure and you should be ok. but it is pretty awesome

So does that mean there are extra fees, or are you talking about battery usage or something else when you say sparingly?

i wouldnt set it up and use it as a wifi source everyday. if your data is insanely high at&t is going to notice. but if you use it once in awhile then im sure they wouldnt catch on

Ehh... Was close to getting this, but don't want any of that Rock crap. I'm happy with native tethering.
