is there any way to save voice memos or the email it is in? I have one of my grandaughter singing. I have it saved on the computer but I'd like to keep it on the phone for bragging purposes. I've tried not to delete emails but sometimes lose them in a deleting frenzy. an app maybe?

I have email folders and just move family emails that I want to keep into my family folder. If you are using yahoo or gmail it's easy to set up folders online and transfer to the iPhone.

add it to itunes, and sync it via a playlist.

Saving voice memos from an email:
-Send the email to your PC
-Convert the file to .m4a if it's not already (not sure if this is necessary)
-Place it with your other music in iTunes
-Right-click and select "Get Info" then "Options" and set "Media Kind" to voice memo
-I THINK the file will then be synced into the voice memos app with the rest of your memos, otherwise you can just sync it to the phone along with all your other audio files
Saving voice memos from an MMS:
-In the MMS, select "Edit" in the upper-right corner
-Select the audio file(s) you want, then select "forward" from the bottom
-Type in the email address for your PC
-Follow the instructions above about converting and syncing. I'm not sure that the file has to be .m4a, but the rest of my voice memos are saved with that extension. You may be able to leave it as a .wav file. I'll have to do some more testing...
