Greetings. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a way to share internet from a PC (I use a mac) to the iPhone, without utilizing the iPhone's Wi-Fi? I'm guessing it would have to be through the USB cable.
There's a great deal of information about how to do it the other way around, but none about how to share internet from the computer to the iPhone.
The wi-fi on my iPhone is broken. Everything else works great. I just moved to another country. I can jailbreak the phone, but without internet on the phone I am unable to unlock it to be able to utilize a local carrier. Cydia is unable to download the necessary apps without internet access. Alternatively is it possible to use Cydia from my PC (still a mac) to download the apps I need to unlock and then transfer them onto my iPhone?
