I've been curious how appaholic some of us are. Getting the numbers from your Applications screen in iTunes and the About screen on your phone, how many do you have?
Me and the wife share 238 apps in iTunes. I'm carrying 105 currently on the phone.

According to the Tunes of i, there are 87 applications. I also have the same number on my phone.
The number I use daily: 3

I have close to 200 downloaded, but on the phone 43 (which is quite a lot for right now since I haven't deleted ones I don't use in awhile). I like to keep it at around 3 pages where my first page is stock, my second page is utilities, and the third page is for games. The fourth is just overflow where I decide if I should keep them or not lol.

Do you guys even organize them anymore? I organize my front two pages and drag crap I rarely use to the back page. I also make an "instruments" page for my musical toys. But other than that I just spotlight it.

I keep my first page stock save for the 2 apps I use the most (DirecTV and SimplyTweet) and the rest are arranged alphabetically.

I really don't see why there still isn't a way to organize apps into folders or stacks. Spotlight is cool and all, but I just can't get used to it on the iPhone.

Folders are great, and the iPhone should definitely have them. But only if I can still spotlight into them. I'm sure that would be the case with an official Apple offering, but using Categories on a current jailbreak, categorized apps are lost to Spotlight. Sucks.
Though honestly I use 40% of the first two pages daily.... maybe. With every other occasional use it's just easier to Spotlight than remember what page it's on.

Yeah. With my 4 1/2 pages, it's not a big deal to flip as opposed to spotlight, so I just keep everything except page 1 alphabetical.
I guess the problem with stacks would be keeping spotlight up to date with app locations. There would either have to be an additional indexing process, or auto-updating when the user creates the stack. I think the latter would be just fine, and wouldn't steal resources. But I guess it could open the door to bugs when opening apps...

I rarely ever use Spotlight. Actually, I don't know if I've used it more than 2 or 3 times.

Me neither. I tend to avoid portrait keyboard situations like the plague.

Three letters gets you where you need to usually. [shrug] I love it.

Well three swipes usually gets me where I need to be. And I don't have to worry about typos.

You win. :ok:ok
Seriously though, Apple needs to speed up Voice Control a tad and add app-launching support. But I digress.

52 including jb apps. 49 on phone. I organize my pages by categories. Can think of about 5 more apps I plan to get. Ditto on app launching with voice control. It's kinda slow on any device I have used though, not just the iPhone.

All on the phone, Europa?

Yeah, currently on the phone. That includes 7 kids apps and 13 jailbroken apps. I have more in iTunes, but I usually just delete them from iTunes and on the phone and then redownload them if I want them back.

Hmmm...other than stock applications I only have 17 on the iPhone. I never use spotlight and I don't like keeping applications I never use. Those 17 I have on there now are used daily though.
Always adding on occasion, too. :ok:ok

I have 187 in iTunes and 68 on my phone. I do use categories for now. I don't delete the ones from iTunes because I will forget that an app was crap and redownload it. Waste of time. For me when I'm checking out an app at the store I can quickly check to see if I've tried it before by looking at the apps in my apps folder. Just says me time.
There is a lot of variety in how we do things with and to our iPhones. It's nice that Apple usually allows more than 1 way to get from point A to point B.:ok:ok

Wow, Dave - I thought I would be the worst addict here but you have me beat! ;) I have 223 apps in iTunes on my Mac, of which 87 are on my iPhone.
I use Spotlight to find many of them these days, but I still would kill to be able to have folders (without jailbreaking). I'd prefer to have a maximum of 2 pages of apps, with the first screen holding my primary apps I use all the time and the second page for a few more apps and folders to organize the rest: Games, News, Finances, Reference, etc.
