View Full Version : Care to Join Us for Some Live iPhone Chat Tonight?

We used to do a weekly talkcast called 'Just Another iPhone Chat' for a time last year. We're going to have a go at reviving that now - starting tonight.

We'll cover iPhone apps (jailbreak and App Store), the App Store and all its craziness, and whatever other iPhone related topics caught our eyes this week.

I know some of you used to join in with us for live chat / call-in last year. I hope some may decide to give that a go tonight. We're on at 10 Eastern tonight, and here are a few of the details:

go HERE (http://www.talkshoe.com/tc/18509) to get to our show’s page – then at 10pm tonight you can choose to join via a simple web client, or download the Pro version, or you can call in to 724-444-7444 and enter our Call ID, which is: 18509.

From that same page, you can also listen to the show online or download the MP3 if you don’t catch it live, subscribe to it via RSS, choose to follow us on TalkShoe, and all that sorta good stuff.

Heeeyyyyy, I might join in on this! I'm working from home tomorrow and won't be getting up at the crack of dawn, so I can stay up late. ;)

Wow - that would be super cool! We moved it an hour earlier than we used to do it way back in 08. :)

Sounds great Patrick, will there be a link to join, etc. when it goes live? I don't see anything at the moment, obviously. What should I be on the lookout for? Is the web interface utilize a microphone or via text?

You guys should have joined the chat last night! I won a case! Though, I don't/can't remember which case it is...but nonetheless.

I was going to join but I realized I'm too cool for that.
Jk, I tried to by going to the site but all I saw was a count down and some clips to download and listen to; like recordings. ;(

It was on at 10 pm EST last night. Were you there perhaps before or after the show? They post the clips to download and listen to of previous shows.

Gah. Apparently, I am too well wired to go to sleep early. I was wide awake at 9:00 and got into bed to read, thinking that I would hop out of bed to join in at 10:00. Big mistake. Bed gravity kept me in bed and I think I was out cold by 9:45. Sheesh.

im excited i hope the phillys win again! id like to see them take the world series again. i was in philly when they won last time working a concert and the guys had to stop mid song because the crowd erupted. isaac was like well...the phillys won the world series!

Sorry Tarek. Right now the time is a lot to do with what time my kiddo gets to bed and I can free up to do it. Maybe we'll look at a Sunday slot sometime that's more friendly for other time zones. First we'll see how a few of these go.

No worries. I'm a big baseball fan. Not a Phillies fan, but do like watching Ryan Howard tear the cover off the ball.

Cool. The episodes are also available to listen to afterwards / subscribe to via iTunes and all that jazz.

We've also got a very cool guest for tonight. Ilium Software's (makers of eWallet and other cool apps) product manager - to talk about that big recent App Store policy change, and what one change he'd make to the App Store tomorrow if he could.

great pitcher...i was sad when he left the indians. he left and the team went to crap. they did kill the yankees in their new stadium on opening day though :)
