I read online, it can take a couple weeks for the "nomination" to
go through, if it goes through. Fingers crossed it doesn't take a while.

I got mine over the weekend, thanks again Term! It's pretty cool, but I don't really have many people to collaborate with so it's kind of difficult to test all the features of it. Currently, I cannot give out any preview invites but when (and if) they become available in the future, I'll let you guys know like Term did.

I received mine this weekend as well. I was of course gone though, so I didnt get to sign up yet. I will do the same as Kaba said and post when and if I receive invites. Thanks again!

Juls, do you want to PM me your contact address when you're all set up? At least I can play around with a Wave then to see how they work first-hand.

i will for sure! ill get it set up tonight im sure. yesterday was just my i need to relax after the 3 days of craziness i just had.

Simply put, Google Wave is what e-mail looks like if it was designed today and not 40 years ago like our current e-mail system was. They're currently doing a limited "preview" of it, as in essentially BETA testing. Here is a video that helps explain it better. You kind of have to use it/see it to get the best understanding...

I have 12 invites for any fellow EIC'ers. Just PM me your address - I'll post back once they are gone.

FYI.. per Google - "Invitations will not be sent immediately. We have a lot of stamps to lick." Last time I had invites it took about a week for the persons to receive them.

Mine shows right in my Inbox "Invite Others to Google Wave" - once you click on it it tells you how many you have.

Google Voice is nice (the service) - I got my invite a while ago but haven't set anything up yet.
