I connected my friend's iPod to my car and chose shuffle. This song played and I fell in love with it, for real! Tracy Chapman seriously has a lovely voice and those lyrics are just amazing.

A couple of them, especially Fast Car, when I am facing an awful lot of problems or in a sad mood. :044:broken_heart

Fast Car has been been given 5 stars in my iTunes library. It is an all time classic and in my eyes, it always will be. :dft010:smiling

Gravity by Sara Bareilles made me cry.

That is sad. Not enough to make me cry though, I've toughened up in the past couple years and I don't think I've cried once. Not even Sarah McLaughlin or Celine Dion can get me any more.
On second thought, I haven't seen Titanic since it came out, but that scene where the old people get in bed and accept their fate, would probably result in a random tear or two.

There is only a live performance of this song on Youtube, but you gotta check out Damien Rice. He's awesome.

This is my new favorite song. I took the long way home from my sisters house tonight so I could listen to it 3 times in a row in the car.

Fruhling in Paris by Rammstein is my current favorite song.

This one too is another that's really grown on me the last day or two. It sort of reminds me of NiN's Hurt a little bit.

Ja, ich spechen sie deutch :) und du?
I just realized after listening to fruhling in Paris again a while ago. There was a little tribute to Edith Piaf. the lyrics "Non rein de rein, Non je ne regrette rein". That to me is one of the most beautiful songs i've heard. One of the few songs that brough tears to my eyes.

I remember a couple things I picked up from the classical period in my college Music class. This is the extent of my German, Guten abend, Gut nacht and Ich liebe dich.

Yea, that's my second favorite song on The Downward Spiral. My favorite is A Warm Place. Reznor's tribute to Bowie's Crystal Japan. Slightly modified. :)

The last scene in Vanilla Sky had more of an emotional impact on me than any movie ever has. I remember watching it in 2001 and crying more than a few tears at the end. It was a combination of the music and the sad ending.
