I have to admit; I am really tempted to jump ship. I love my 3Gs but this seems to be the first real possible iPhone killer? Well maybe not killer but certainly competition. Thoughts?

I'm sure it has some nice features, but I don't see where it is more outstanding than the iPhone. I don't care for the physical buttons along the bottom. Overall, I prefer the OS of Apple and what the future has in store for the iPhone.

Well I wouldn't jump ship for anything windows mobile. I am getting close to leaving though for something like the palm pre or htc hero. I am getting so fed up with the **** service AT&T offers. I know in some places they are decent but not here. I just get way too many dropped calls, complete signal dead spots, text messages that never send, voicemail showing up weeks late. The only thing holding me back is that ETF atm.

Sure, if the iPhone had a WVGA screen, themes, multitasking, weather animations, and a 1GHz cpu...

Multitasking & themes has been possible for ever through JB. Weather animations has been out already. Search for World Weather in the Appstore. I actually wrote a review in the Appstore Apps sub-forum about it.

HTC has done a great job with TouchFlo and the hardware is very nice. That being said, third party apps are the "same old Windows Mobile apps". Where's the ZunePhone already.

Nice looking but I'm not going back to WM for anything, at least anytime soon.

It does look like it has some great attributes and benefits but when considering the UI of the iPhone along with the iTunes App Store, it makes it a non-competitor.

I think it's fairly sad when a mfgr has to rely on skinning as much as possible to entice users...nothing against HTC, I like HTC...but WinMO, no way would I go back right now.

Oh and this is a repost. :)

The iTunes App Store is great, but Windows Mobile has loads of awesome applications, too. Don't forget that they don't have to be officially signed by Microsoft. Even though that can be dangerous at times, it's still beneficial. But you only experience the greatness of an iPhone when you jail break it, thanks to Cydia. I hope you get my point.

Don't think I could leave my iPhone. I'm too attached.

My opinion: The UI and apps of the iPhone will continue to be the reason for its crushing dominance for quite some time to come. This is both a good and bad thing.

I actually work for Att and I have a love hate relationship with my iPhone and the service... Love the phone when it works but honestly Att service blows I'm right now at work and barely any signal... Had htc come into work and do a presentaion on there new phones I really like the tilt 2 and I was an htc user before iPhone I had a shadow but I don't think I could ever go back to a wm device until they fix all the bugs and make it faster... Also I hate that you have to jailbreak he iPhone to make it nice... Oh well maybe one day apple will be nice and play with others but doubt it... I'll jump ship to verizon once they get it tho
