I just found a great weather app & thought I would share with those who haven't seen it yet. It's called World Weather powered by Weather Underground which is considered one of the most, if not the most accurate weather services in the world. If you loved the animated weather application that was first featured on the HTC TouchFlow 3D, then you love this app. It has beautifully animated weather & detailed info. It will also give you 6 day forecast when you turn the phone landscape. It's only $0.99 which is a steal. The only thing I would like to see in this app is GPS loaction & animated radar. Other than that, it's very clean & beautiful. This should've been the weather app that came with the iPhone.

awesome app, I hated every other 3rd party app because of the annoying ads. This is great.

Thanks for the heads up ZR. I already have two other weather apps, The Weather Channel and Weather Bug. I will look into this one though.

I actually use Weather Underground's web based app which, by the way, does use animated radar but no GPS locator although you can search for a weather station in your zip code. There are countless stations in Denver and I use the one closest to my address so it's spot on.

It's a great looking app. Might have got it if it had everything The Weather Channel has.
Hard to give up doppler radar, hour-by-hour forecast, 36-hour/10-day forecast, etc.

I was looking for such kind of application, is it a free application? Let me know. If not, can you tell me it's price? I am interested to use it as early as possible.

Gary, do you actually read each post? The price of this app is given in the first post and even if it weren't you can go to itunes to check out if it's free.

You're in OP. The closest weather station to you would be in Fleming Island.:ok:ok

I've never seen fleming island show up as a station. I'll have to check into that.

It is cool looking, but why would you pay for a weather app when the free ones like the weather channel, weatherbug and accuweather provide everything you need with more features?

What you are paying for is the design and the graphics (and no ads, of course). Whether that's important is up to you. Most of the weather programs (free or not) give the same information and use the same sources. I use FizzWeather (for which I paid) which I had used for years on other devices, none of the free apps seem to me as appealing or readable.

You're welcome. I still have TWC app as well just in case I need a radar or forecast 10 days out which I don't think would be too accurate anyway.

Weather Underground is by far the best and the app does ask you if you would allow it to use your location. It's strange that it doesn't do the same for you.
